Hey Virginia, You're Canceled. Thanks

When it rains, it pours!

Several Virginia officials have effectively set fire to the entire political field all for a temporary costume or sensation.

First up, photographs from a medical school yearbook show [allegedly] Governor Ralph Northam donning blackface standing side-by-side with a classmate dressed up as a member of the Ku Klux Klan. When the picture first went viral, Northam was swiftly apologetic and addressed anyone who might have found themselves offended by his actions.

Honestly, keep it.

But to make matters worse, he backtracked in a press conference, stating that the picture was not of him and that he would have remembered doing something like that. However, he attempted to utilize shoe polish in order to pull off a Michael Jackson costume AND THEN was about to moonwalk before his wife stopped him.

You're dismissed, sir. Go ahead, hand in that letter of resignation and release it publicly so we can start planning a parade.

Next, on the chopping block, Attorney General Mark Herring decided not to leave his fellow politician out in the cold. He has been quoted on Wednesday saying that he too has utilized blackface as an integral part of a costume in his college days.

You can go and join your friend on the state of Virginia's block list. ESPECIALLY since you were calling for Northam's resignation THREE DAYS AGO.

Talk about speaking out of both sides of your neck.

To make matters even worse, the man that was next in line to take over the office of Governor, Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax, is now subject of a sexual assault allegation. According to an account given by Vanessa C. Tyson, associate professor and black history expert at Scripps College in California, intentions were not made clear and consent was most definitely not given.

"What began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assault,” Dr. Tyson expressed publicly. “Mr. Fairfax put his hand behind my neck and forcefully pushed my head towards his crotch. Only then did I realize that he had unbuckled his belt, unzipped his pants, and taken out his penis.”

Side note: We stan an educated black queen and best believe we will go to war for one of our own when she has been wronged.

Fairfax has denied said allegations and has even been quoted by NBC News as using a derogatory term behind closed doors.

In the era of the #MeToo movement and in a climate that is extremely racially-sensitive, all of you are canceled. Effective immediately.

That being said, until Virginia finds effective leadership that does not have a past (or present) riddled with controversy, we're just gonna act like you don't exist.

You're not invited to cookouts or weddings or baby showers. Matter fact, lose America's number until you learn how to act!
